Rows of glass cages stack upon each other, like displays in a showroom—except inside them… are breathing souls. Under the pale light, there is a tiny white puppy—Cinna. Curled into himself, pressed against the glass, his tail tucked quietly behind him—as if even his existence should not take up too much space. He has been here since the day he was born. He has never seen his parents, never seen the sky. To him, the world is nothing more than these walls of glass. And in his small, trembling heart, a quiet thought—“I don’t know what today will bring… I’m scared.” Some lives never had a choice. But perhaps—it only takes one encounter to change everything. If we had never met him… where would his story have gone?

LuLu and WaWa happen to pass by. “Does this place feel… strange to you?” “…Yeah. Like something… forgotten.” They keep walking, lost in question. Inside the shop—a little white dog—Cinna watches the world outside. His eyes slowly fall… from hope, into silence.... He remembers the very first moment he came into this world. Some encounters are only a step away— just one turn… too late.

In their hands, a small metal cage—cold, crude, and inside… is a life that has just begun. His name is Cinna. A tiny white puppy who hasn’t even learned to stand steady—small enough to fit within a single palm. He trembles softly, like a snowflake unsure where to fall. His eyes are wide. Clear—too clear—not yet able to tell kindness from cruelty, yet already forced to witness a world that doesn’t belong to him. He has never known the warmth of his mother, never heard the breath of his siblings beside him. To him, the world is nothing but lines of cold iron. Cinna lifts his head, gently, and looks across. There, another cage. Larger. A few older dogs huddle together, watching him in silence. Between the two cages, there lies an invisible river. Cinna doesn’t know what it means to be “sold.” He doesn’t understand “leaving” or “losing.” He only knows, instinctively, to look—with those eyes still untouched by the world—toward another living soul. As if asking… Is this all there is? Sometimes, the ones we meet are enough to rewrite a life—leading him toward a different ending…

And… sounds that shouldn’t exist. He frowns slightly. “This place… isn’t right.” No hesitation. A photo. Sent. But— on the other end of that message, who is waiting? He presses himself into the shadows, his breathing growing heavy and restrained. “This place… isn’t right.” That familiar chill begins to creep back from the depths of his memory—just like the night he was taken away (Special Series 2). The message has been sent, but no reply has come. But there are more guards than expected. Time… slows. Then—Cinna is suddenly lifted into the air. A harsh beam of light cuts across his tiny body. The message he sent—that tiny clue—is his only hope. He is waiting… for someone he believes will come. Yet true darkness is never sudden—it advances quietly, almost imperceptibly. A vast shadow, indistinguishable from the surrounding night, has already formed and settled beside him in silence. And Caesar remains unaware. Across the room—a cold voice breaks the stillness: “This white one… should sell well.” Cinna trembles softly. A faint, almost voiceless sound escapes him—“Am I about to disappear?” Caesar’s gaze hardens. He whispers—“We can’t wait any longer.” But he doesn’t know… the danger has already surrounded them. It is spreading. Quietly. Completely. If they had never met that day, would their fate have simply faded into the dark?

It was something larger. Heavier. Something that carried fear itself. And just like that—the hunters became the ones who fled. The shadow stopped. Raised the wooden stick. And here, slowly, gently—he is learning to step into a world that once felt impossibly far away. Sunlight pours through the window, and the ocean breathes softly beyond it. No more cold cages. No more darkness. Only warmth, quiet, and hearts willing to wait. Cinna sits by the window, watching the sea. Nami jumps around in the water, acting like a dolphin and putting on a “welcome to the world” performance. (Nami, you’re already a dolphin—you don’t have to pretend😂) Cinna still hugs himself—a habit he hasn’t let go of. But this time, it’s not fear. It’s… the beginning of feeling safe. WaWa whispers, “He’s still learning.” LuLu adds softly, “Learning to trust the world.” Behind him, Caesar watches. Says nothing. But somewhere deep inside, something finally settles.
